    Tax is tax, whether we call it VAT or Sales Tax. The mist important aspect is whether the politicians will again steal from the people or apply the extra revenue to develop the country.

    Before 1995, Sales Tax was the prevailing tax system. It was during this period that Kumipreko demo took place when VAT was being introduced to replace it. Sankofa reloaded.
