  So much greed has clouded the minds of our politicians that none of them realized that it will all be in vain if nature perishes at the expense of all the wealth they are amassing. Their/our children and children’s children will not be able to live healthily in a Ghana without fresh air and clean water. To what end will they come to this realization.
  
  Surprisingly, they are well educated to know have this basic knowledge but greed won’t allow them to do what is right.
  
  Save the future
  Save our waters
  Save our forests
  Repeal that deadly LI2462
  Give our future generations a chance to survive

  Every single person (regardless of status) who is directly or indirectly involved in the destruction and poisoning of lands and water bodies for 32M+ Ghanaians is evil and deserves the death penalty. Revoke LI 2462 NOW!

  I strongly agree with most of these opinions, regarding the LI being revoked instead of an amendment. President Mahama started out with some good appointments but what some of them are bringing in public are going to hurt if not corrected Recent 'discoveries' and others.
  Greed is already creeping into this new govt. because to safeguard the environment and the water bodies, The LI must be revoked. Dishonorable Ghanaians will plunder where there is an open.They were mining when they were supposed to be prospecting.
  Most Ghanaians want perpetrators to be jailed before deportation, reason being that some corrupt official will aid in their return and cause more havoc. Why are some govt/ officials ca;;for deportation without jail time? It is no secret about corrupt officials in places, just look at what happened at the harbor. Voters are watching and listening. Just ask your Chinese officials what would be the punishment for perpetrators lie these in China. I rest my opinions , what are yours?

  Any well meaning patriotic and sensible Ghanaian would not hesitate to agree that this LI 2462 should without hesitation be REVOKED with immediate effect. Oh greed, greed has blindfolded our so called leaders, it has totally blocked their ears, hardened their hearts, made them impervious to reason. Short term gains and avarice without due considerations to the survival of mother Ghana, our ecosystems, our water bodies, our greens, remain the order of the day. I appeal to President Mahama who I believe has a good heart and intent together with his government to PLEASE CONSIDER and ACT to REVOKE LI 2462 to resuscitate our mother Ghana.
  
  I appeal to all Ghanaians who love our country to come together and make their voices heard to the government to totally REVOKE LI 2462 in the interest of mother Ghana and its citizens. President Mahama so far as I am concerned no RESET can be more meaningful to our dear nation than REVOCATION of LI 2462. This goes to the fabric of our survival as a nation. Please you have been mandated to save our nation for us, do this for us and posterity will always remember you for saving our nation Ghana.
