  I shall continue to say it LOUD and CLEAR ---re this GALAMSEY MENANCE ---WE KEEP on raising ALARM about the disaster ----such an EXISTENSIAL THREAT --softly and slowly killing us ALL --[not only in the immediate areas of operation but far across and wide-----whether ILLEGAL LOGGING or GALAMSEY----both operations are responsible for the disaster,
  The article makes good sense and must be directed not just at GOVERMNMENT but specifically at PARLIAMENT---PARLIAMENT enacts the LAW of the LAND .--no GOVERNMENT can ever STOP GALAMSEY even if it wants to or need to STOP it ---without PARLIAMENT.
  To STOP the GALAMSEY MENANCE effectively --I say LET PARLIAMENT ENACT a LAW to BAN any SMALL SCALE MINING activity--[both legal and illegal] for a foreseeable period say 30 years --until the WATER BODIES AND VEGETATIONS regain its unpolluted and healthy state of growth. Any VIOLATION must attract a very severe PENALTY -EVEN DEATH by FIRING SQUAD ----[such as it is done in some Asia countries when Narcotic Drug Traffickers are apprehended ]--It works --it is a deterrent.
  A serious re afforestation operation must be embarked upon to win back the Forrest --So at LEAST --likewise-- in the interim LOGGING be it Legal or Illegal--must be halted for some period.---a BAN also to that effect. If any one wants a job they must partake in the on-going win back the LAND --VEGETATION & WATER PROJECTS .LET US BE BOLD TO ADVANCE THIS EFFECTIVE WAY TO STOP THIS EXISTENTIAL THREAT that is killing us all -softly and slowly.---WATER --the VEGETATION --[FOREST & AGRICULTURAL LAND ] are LIFE ----our existence is on these --NOT the gold .The action groups --rallies - --protesting --marching --the air wave commentaries --now AGAIN is the TIME to direct your demand upon the PARLIAMENT to do the NEEDFUL to SAVE us ALL.--Tell Parliament if THEY ARE SERIOUS --the ANTI-GAYISM BILL is not anything that GHANAIANS ARE WORRIED ABOUT ----AFTERALL we already have LAWS that deals with any indecent sexual behavior in public--WHY BOTHER about a deviant sexual orientation--WHY not mind your business ---which is the GALAMSEY MENANCE and not how someone chooses to lead his or her sexual life or WHATEVER.--what is NORMAL or ABNORMAL ?--I choose to write with my LEFT HAND and you choose to use your RIGHT HAND to write --who cares.
