  Hypocrisy is no longer the type of govt being run. That ended with Akufo Addo & the NPP. The president will critically access the situation & offer the real solution. Just imagine him going there to tell them he could have stayed away because they don't vote for him, like Akufo Addo.

IT IS FOR SAME REASON THE PRESIDENT'S BROTHER HAD EARLIER GONE THERE TO GIVE THE PEOPLE SOME RELIEF ITEMS BEFORE THEIR TRIP ON INDEPENDENCE DAY. STOP GIVING THE IMPRESSION THAT THE VOLTA REGION PROBLEM HAPPENED OVERNIGHT AND MAHAMA COULDN'T WAIT TO GO THERE.PRESIDENTS HAVE SCHEDULES AND DELEGATES WHO EDUCATE THEM ON SITUATIONS.   By comparing, you have exhibited a level of immaturity and that make your case both politically and tribally frivolous.
  You should know by now that the issue in the Volta region has been there unsolved for ages even before the Apeate explosion happened but urgent attention was given it by the previous government without anyone making unbiased statements like you are doing in this case.
  Ghana is a multi tribal country and you should avoid making such offensive statements going forward. You can argue out your case without any unhealthy comparison. THANK YOU.

  To those who enjoy insulting other Ghanaians including their betters,NPP government led by President Kuffuor constructed the Keta Sea Defense Wall and was to be continued with ancillary works including salt producing infrastructures and then bam Atta-mills/John Mahama came to power and that was the end,but for President Kuffuor’s monumental endeavor Keta would have disappeared by now,no government from Guggisburg to JJ (son of the soil) ever did that for the people of Keta,has your chiefs and people ever acknowledged this before?

  Come on Ghanaians we should growup, and mature. Sometimes we behave sometimes in a very irrational way.
  You should feeel ashamed to ask for a presidential visit. These dynamites are being used for illegal mining destroying arable lands and polluting drinking water.
  You the explotion is serious wait until there is a prolonged drought and you cannot go to River Owerri for water.
  Educate your people to be more responsible.
