You started very well by educating us on the Guyana system of Gold Board and the fallouts therein, but messed yourself up at the end. Not sure if the new government has claimed anywhere that they are the originators of the Gold Board idea and that none of its kind ever existed anywhere in the world. Let's rise above this blinded partisanship and move on as a people. We should all be against any form of corruption. So we don't want to be compare any notes of shameful corruption prowess. However, you cannot objectively tell anyone as a Ghanaian that you're proud of Akufo Addo's corruption legacy. In effect, we should all learn from the Guyana experience not to repeat their mistakes. Cocoa board was doing quite well until recently. The kind of leaderships in government is important. A good and morally upright leader will work for the good of the people and a morally corrupt, selfish-centerd leader will loot for his family and friends. Extreme partisan will not take us anywhere but into a bottomless pit. We should rather work to enrich the content of any legislation to back the effective operation of the Gold Board such that no capricious leader will come and take advantage of any gabs in the legislation.
