  Why are you surprised about NDC not keeping its promise? Critically examine the make up of NDC power and membership structure; about 90% of them will tell you cocoa grows underground just like cassava.
  
  Ghana's economy has been carried on the backs of cocoa farmers for about a century because cocoa farmers like myself, my father and grand parents were and will never be invited to determine how much their labor is worth. It is always determine by the bureaucrats in Accra who always calls us "kookoasefour". It is the only occupation in Ghana that the government taxes 99.99% of its labor.
  
  My brother, I am with you. The injustices that had been meted to cocoa farmers over the years would have to come to an end. I wish I could get hold of you to join a new pressure group which will be working for reform of the cocoa industry and treatment of cocoa farmers. Very soon you'll hear about this new group - just keep trucking.
