The concept is too discriminatory. We need to take a close look at our Banking system and the availability of Banks. Money has no gender . Finance is gender neutral. All w need is to educate and incentivize money makers to save their money inn the bank for finacial growth and protection.
The money should be available to them whenever it is n4eeded.
People in Ghana do not save in the banks because of their mistrust of the banks. When certain banks were desolved there were no effort on the part of the central bank to make sure that depositors got their money. Up till now my own sister has not received her 40,000 cedis she had with Nduoms's Bank. I had to convince her to open account with Standard chartered Bank.
As a residence in Rural Ghana, Acrra does not care about us; Accra is too corrupts to be trusted in any way. The word is "TRUST".
Show us the trust and we will act.
To conclude, Women's Bank is not the answer but the establish of Trust in the Banking sector nationally is the solution and the availability of Banks is also the solution.
