  Sometimes you wonder why people are always ready to criticize everything the government does. Didn't the previous government budget for the repayment of our debts and yet it turned out that Ghana did not have the cash to meet the debt obligations hence the DDEP? Putting a figure in a budget is not the same as having cash available to meet commitments. It is about time we let these so called economists or commentators know that they are not more knowledgeable than the average Ghanaian when it comes to economic discourse.

  This is a very propagandist article in tone. Where is the objectivity here? Let's not try to downplay what both governments have done over their respective time in office. One has taken people money given them low interest rates along with longer mature dates and overall didn't even bother to pay them when some of those bonds matured during their time in office while another in just less than a year has aged things better and are about to pay those unfairly cheated their money and even set aside other funds to pay them in the subsequent coming years. Pensioners that lost their lives and family as well as the banks that were disolvent and others that made so much losses, only for the money to be paid and you are here saying much ado about nothing. You ankasa you need mental observation. Nonsense!!
