Hon Issifu Seidu, is well cut out for the task. I know him well. We were mates in UCC and he studied Economics and went on to work for Lever Brothers before joining politics. Babs, as we affectionately called him, is an affable and very hardworking businessman. He has created hundreds of employment opportunities for his people in the Nalerigu-Gambaga area and the president has done well in recognizing his efforts. But for local politics related to the Bawku conflict, he would have easily retained his seat. We are excited that Alhaji is put in this position. His native region is experiencing climate change challenges that he is very familiar with.
