NDC just used 24-hour economy as a campaign hype. There is nothing special about a 24-hour economy. Most importantly, you cannot just stand up and say you are implementing a 24-hour economy. It is nothing you can "implement" consciously. If a country's infrastructure is advanced, it will enable the economy to function 24 hours. You don't have to launch it. It happens automatically. We saw this most during the Covid lockdown when people were working from distance or remotely. The digital infrastructure enabled it. Even after lockdown, the drive continued. The countries where this was most effective didn't have to consciously implement any 24-hour economy. If Ghana's infrastructure improves, people will find it profitable to work around the clock as in the advanced countries. 24-hour economy is not a "policy" issue but providing adequate infrastructure is a policy drive.

You have said it right. No policy or legislation can make a factory or individual work for 24 hours. if the need arises, they will work without anyone forcing them.
