Rt. Hon. Edward Korbly Doe Adjaho's distinguished career in our political landscape underscores his exceptional suitability for the role of Speaker of Parliament. Serving as Speaker from 2013 to 2017, he was the first individual in Ghana's Fourth Republic to ascend to this position directly from Parliament's membership, reflecting his peers' profound respect and trust. Adjaho's extensive parliamentary experience is unparalleled; he represented the Avenor-Ave constituency from 1993 to 2013, making him one of the few politicians to retain their seats throughout the Fourth Republic. This two-decade tenure provided him with deep insights into legislative processes and the nuances of our governance. His legal acumen, honed through a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ghana and subsequent qualification as a Barrister-at-Law, equipped him to navigate complex legal and constitutional matters with precision. This expertise was invaluable in ensuring that parliamentary proceedings adhered strictly to legal standards. Before his speakership, Adjaho held pivotal leadership roles, including First Deputy Speaker, Deputy Minority Leader, and Minority Chief Whip. These positions allowed him to cultivate a reputation for impartiality and consensus-building, essential qualities for effective parliamentary leadership. His commitment to democratic principles was evident during his tenure as Speaker, where he prioritized the independence of the legislature, ensuring it functioned as a robust check on the executive branch. This dedication reinforced the separation of powers, a cornerstone of democratic governance. Adjaho's international experience, including his membership in the Pan-African Parliament, broadened his perspective on legislative best practices across Africa, enabling him to introduce progressive reforms in our Parliament. His leadership was marked by a focus on members' welfare, infrastructural development, and the modernization of parliamentary procedures, contributing to a more efficient and responsive legislative body. In recognition of his service, Adjaho was awarded an honorary Doctor of Law degree by the University of Professional Studies, Accra, in 2013, underscoring his significant contributions to Ghana's legal and political spheres. Given his unparalleled experience, legal expertise, and unwavering commitment to democratic principles, Edward Doe Adjaho stands out as the quintessential candidate for the Speakership, poised to guide Parliament with integrity and vision.

Anyone falsely claiming the title "Dr." without earning a PhD undermines the integrity of academic achievements and deserves the strictest accountability (they should face firing squad, naked). Such actions should face severe consequences to preserve respect for genuine scholarly efforts (the sleepless nights, physical toll, mental anguish, and moments teetering on the edge of madness). Such deceit trivializes the pain and sacrifice of those who endure this grueling journey, and it warrants the harshest punishment.

The writer is a fool full . the one who wrote this article is a bigger fool. Where did he see Electoral commission trying to snatch a seat for The ruling new patriotic party? Try to write something proper on Ghana Web. Ask ing he will tell you that he declared the seat under duress. probably you do not know the meaning of duress.is something forcefully done without your will.
Next time if you get opportunity to write try write something sensible without being bias. Do you think this election is something that NDC have to jubilate about it? Look at how the supporters burned Electoral commission offices across the country. Are you happy about that incidents? Foolish people always advertise their ignorance .

Then after the four years, flagbear selection and and stuff will put regional balance in check. Probably other regions should gain more since the north has already gained much this time.
Besides there are other important offices that can be given to people from other regions. One Deputy speaker, Chief of staff, defence, foreign affairs, finance, education, health, etc.
