Currently, all concerns are on the imminent elections and the conduct of effective campaigns to ensure victory for His Excellency JDM. I doubt whether you have played any role in this regard, but you have invested your energies to haranguing JDM even before he can be crowned. You have placed yourself in a line-up of opportunists who wouldn't give JDM the relevant space to even think and govern properly should he win the elections. I pray the heavens to rid us of political bedbugs who suck our blood and give nothing in return.

  It's a fact that in terms of education, employment and health we were fifty years ahead of the United States of America in 1962.
  In 1962 we started free and compulsory education, full employment of our people by the establishment of the Workers' Brigade, State Construction Corporation and State Housing Corporation.
  Education was expanded in 1962 by the experimental school system that was to shorten the years it will take pupil to enter secondary schools and the university.
  Experimental school system was to make the child ready at the age of 12 to enter secondary school,with three years at the secondary school he was to enter the university at age 16.
  Such educational experiment was to put Ghana ahead of most countries in the world.
  The University of Science and Technology was established in Kumasi to train our future engineers, chemists and biochemists.
  The University of Cape Coast was to train teachers for the secondary schools and universities, they were set up to expand the reach of Ghanaians to university education, which role was formally played by the Legon university.
  As there was the need to train people who must intellectually defend Ghana on the national and international stage, the Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute was build.
  On education we did not stop there. We send people around the world to return and use their knowledge and skills they gained abroad to the development of Ghana.
  With the assistance of Eastern European Socialist countries and Soviet Union we trained tractor operators, mechanics, combine harvesters operators and mechanics, aircraft pilots for the agricultural sector, of whom some were to become commercial aircraft pilots.
  All that efforts by us to become truly independent country were all aborted by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on 24th February, 1966.
  This writer's article is a reflection of the harm the US and her allies caused us since 1966, to build that illusion of not capable of ruling ourselves and managing our economy.
  I still remember my own experience when in 1984 a US radio station said that I should defect in Havana, Cuba and seek asylum at the Swedish Embassy, US interest section.

If your niece "aced" the Junior High exam and could not secure the senior high she was looking for, whose fault was it...Nana Addo and Bawumia, right or the decades-old and rotten bureaucratic system in Ghana that predate the current government? Some of you guys talk about incompetent Mahama as if he is now a saint and/or Messiah who is (not)coming to save Ghana and take it to the "Promised Land." Give me a break!!
