We thank God for a brave man like Speaker Bagbin who has demonstrated strength in the face of a tyrant like president Nana Akuffo Addo.

  Why very well considered career personalities would or could allow themselves to be very vulnerable to the whims of the current president is what surprises and shocks most level thinking Ghanaians.
  Madam Torkornoo's plight and situation is rather sad and pathetic coming on the wake of mass goodwill shown by Ghanaians upon her nomination. Besides, Madam Torkornoo had the benefit of having two female Chief Justices who had preceeded her and should have noted how well they conducted themselves which despite their political inclination " maintained " certain level of respectable neutrality.
  Do Chief Justices take oath of allegiance to the President who appointed them or to the people of Ghana?
  If any form of favour is to be tolerated, it is when the appointor is unfairly been targeted by political opponents but not to do a bidding that will compromise the integrity of state institutions which ultimately shield them from accounting to the people as in the case of the Electoral Commission.
  It is not late Madam Torkornoo, as your better half people say; " A small disgrace is always better than a big disgrace "

  Yess they are really sabotaging government business....if someone has set a precedence and an astute gentleman like you with a track record of governance under your sleeves must not descend to that same direction as ocquaye.legalities at play , the law must always be tested.our 8th parliament is in shambles.badgin shd have salvage this situation very easily so as to keep a good reputational record before parliament stands ....badgin went overboard cos if you have person like aseidu nketia on the parliamentary board what do you think?

You Suraju saw it at the time that it was a bad precedence but you kept quiet because you never thought there will be a fine clever brave gentleman would ever emerge to counter it one day. Look my brother, when you always depend on 'ways and means', strategies and tricks to have your ways always,this is the result you are witnessing.   There can be no doubt that the CJ and those 5 corrupt judges are card-bearing members of the npp. If you are not sure where somebody belongs in the political divide, look at the person's levels of dishonesty, greed, insincerity, mediocrity. Npp members are well clothed in these vices. We know them. These are not people who have the interest of the country at heart. To them, it is npp first before any other thing. Are these the people to rule us?
