In my opinion, Bawumia is trying hard to hide the arrogance and lies which are part of him but its not working. He praises himself like the proverbial lizard in Chinua Achebe's 'Things Fall Apart'. He constantly yells and calls Mahama in an absurd tone to a debate anytime he gets the chance on a political platform. What a humble man indeed.
Mahama on the contrary, exhibits maturity and shows respect to Ghanaians in his campaign. I've never seen or heard him say 'mun fa 'steer' nu ma mi' whilst doing a theatrical off-beat dance.
As for the writer of this article, I believe his head must be examined by a psychiatrist. The earlier, the better.

Words from one's mouth can make or mar his personality. One cannot be considered as matured,intelligent, uncouth, wise, humble and intelligent unless he/ she opens his/ her mouth to talk. Words are a powerful tool which serves as a judge in the eyes of the knowledgeable people. It is therefore important for us to be cautious of whatever we say both in light or darkness. My late grandfather told me that: Woman Nyansa Nko na Efie Nyansa nso nko" literally mean there is a vase difference between Literacy and Instilled wisdom given to by the forebears. I'm not using this as an insult against anyone but I always ask: Were these the people really trained at home by elders or they were kept as pets? Do they consider themselves as human beings when they spit Vernon [ words or sentences no civilised would utter] against a colleagues of equal status? I don't know whether the former president Mahama and most his party members went to a college where Insult was the only subject in that set up. I am by this piece asking the Ex- President to desist from this behaviour because he is not a mere John but a noble, respectable, role model and a gentleman who people look up to in life. The position he is looking for is in the hands of the marginalised, hence he should approach them with words that would touch their hearts for them accept and vote for him. Condemning the rival is unhealthy and cannot win him votes. He should concentrate more on what differently he intends to do for the masses and not what the opponents couldn't do. Same goes to his party members. I' m saying this because we saw his strength and weaknesses during his tenure as president and the decision rests on us so outlining his new vision to Ghanaians matters most and not condemnation. Same to NDC MEMBERS who speak to us. Presidential position shouldn't be a verbal war, Insults, pull him down but convincing words, request, achievable promises, truthfulness and love.These should be made tactfully. So with few days for the decision, I plead that all NDC Members should throw their usual utterances into the dustbins and approach or address issues with decent language in every discourse that comes their way. Thank you.
