I wouldn't be surprised if these Sunday School Lessons are purposefully crafted by the leadership of Assemblies of God Church to campaign for John Mahama, the NDC Presidential Candidate. Afterall some Christian leaders have openly vowed to ensure that a Muslim never becomes President of Ghana. They erroneously think that it's an abomination for a Muslim to lead this nation. By our actions and public utterances, we are openly telling our Muslim brothers and sisters that they are not fit to lead the nation. And Assemblies of God, particularly the General Superintendent is actively campaigning for John Mahama with the lame excuse that he is a member of his Church. Dragging the Church into the political space is a dangerous path to tread. Is this the first time Ghana is having a general election? Why these strenuous efforts to 'teach' Christians about how to choose political leaders? Let's be careful we don't get carried away with this unholy agenda and end up creating trouble for the Church. Eligible voters are old enough to make their own choices. Give them that little respect.
