A good article, but let me add further.
First it's on record that the countries of former Warsaw Pact before 9th May, 1945 when the aids of Adolf Hitler, signed the act of surrender to the Russian Red Army were all members of the pro-Hitler coalition.
The nations of Eastern Europe on the side of Adolf Hitler from 24th July, 1941 when Hitler fascist regime attacked Soviet Russia were Austria, Bulgaria, Finland, Moldava, Poland, Yugoslavia, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Germany itself.
Ukraine was then part of Soviet Russia, however some Ukrainians joined fascist German Army against Soviet Russia, and one person of Ukrainian origin was Bandera.
The irony here is that the name Bandera sounds like a Jewish name and a Jew was on the side of Adolf Hitler to exterminate Jews, just as the majority of the nations on the Hitler coalition were Slavs that teamed up with Hitler to exterminate Russians who are also Slav.
The second point is on the ruse of Soviet expansion.
At the end of the second world war though the Soviet Army fought and occupied Austria,it withdrew because there was no strong communist party in Austria as it was in other Eastern European countries.
Austria and Western Germany was occupied by Britain, United States and France at the end ot the second world war.
The third point is that Britain, U.S. and France made sure that fascism was not defeated totally in Europe, thus the three formed a barrier of protection in Western Germany to prevent the overthrow of the fascist governments, which were allies of Adolf Hitler fascist Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
It will interest readers that just three years after the defeat of fascist Germany the leaders of Britain, France and U.S. formed a military alliance with Germany to be known as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
The fourth point is that fascist Italy, Portugal and Spain formed an alliance with the fascist and apartheid regimes in Rhodesia, South West Africa and South Africa.
Those fascist regimes of Southern Europe were financed, armed and trained by NATO members and Israel to fight against the forces of national liberation in Angola, Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde Island, Namibia, Rhodesia, South Africa and Spanish Sahara.
It is on record that all the freedom fighters from those African countries then under fascist and apartheid regimes were called terrorists by members of NATO, not excluding Nelson Mandela who the U.S. removed a tag on his arrest as a terrorist years after he became the president of South Africa and was about to visit the U.S.
In 1990 I was working closely with the Soviet Embassy in Ghana as a coordinator of some organizations when Mikhail Gorbachov introduced his infamous Perestroika.
From the unset I saw it as a disaster awaiting the Soviet Union and the the whole of the socialist countries in Eastern Europe.
And it was Putovka Takava as from a Russian fable.
Fifth, it is on record that the Soviet Union did not take up arms to establish a socialist state on any continent of the world apart from the countries which as we mentioned earlier were members of the Hitler Coalition.
If the matter is about socioeconomic and ideological expansion, then the US and her NATO allies must put the index finger on their chest.
Already in 1948 US and her NATO members were in Asia leaving no stone unturned to prevent countries from the Middle East, South East Asia and India subcontinent from gaining true independent.
To police the Arabs in the Middle East, they established the state of Israel.
So, if one have to talk about socioeconomic and ideological expansion the culprits are the very NATO members who created the myth of Soviet expansion.
According to soviet scholars, a revolution must not be exported.
Thus NATO members were military in China itself, Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Viet Nam, Burma to prevent them from gaining their right to self determination.
Those were the time U.S. and her NATO allies were overthrowing governments around the world and establishing fascist regimes from Africa, America to Asia.
Let NATO members point to a country which Soviet expansionism has affected by the use of force of arms.
In the middle of 1970s the citizens of many NATO countries, US and fascist governments in Southern Europe became disillusioned about their countries' colonial system.
The militaries in Portugal and Spain staged a coup against the colonial system of their government in Africa and as a result, Portugal and Spain left their colonies in Africa which gained their independence as a result.
Earlier U.S. had its nose bloodied in Korea and as a result has to abandon her wish to imposed liberal capitalist economic system on the whole of Korea.
North Korea became independent in 1953 as a result of the defeat of the US army.
In 1975 the U.S. and her NATO allies were defeated in Laos, Cambodia and Viet Nam and as a result they made a hasty withdrawal, as the case was in Afghanistan in 2021.
There is no record or incident that point of Soviet expansion through covert and overt means around the world. That remains a myth which NATO has up to date not proved.
We have written on several occasions that the current war in Ukraine is a result of NATO intervention and overthrow of the government of Victor Yanukovich on 13th March, 2014 in Ukraine and instigating Russophobe policies in Ukraine.
NATO members have not hidden that fact that they want to use Ukraine as a base to defeat Russia, exterminate 75% of her population, ban the Russian language, drive away from Russia the remaining 25% and exploit her natural resources.
The reasons about the aggression of NATO against Russia are not different from that of Adolf Hitler on 24th July, 1941.
So in the nutshell, the whole of NATO and their allies have become an Adolf Hitler coalition.

I disagree with your assertion on the war in Ukraine. It was about the annexation of Crimea. Eastonia is with NATO and shares borders with Russia. There is no document that talked about expansion of NATO eastward. Why did Russia took part of Georgia and Moldova ? Was it because of NATO ? Russia wanted to steal the land of the Ukrainians and they have really fought and continue to fight for their land. But for Ukraine, Russia was over valued in terms of military strategy
and ammunition. Today, Russia is begging for military aid
from Iran and North Korea. Russia is a disgrace and a shame to humanity. This is why rich people try to take the property of the poor because they lack resources to fight back. Slave Ukraine and God bless the supporters (US,GERMANY, UK.....) of Ukraine.
