In which year did Manasseh write about the Ford Vehicle gift to Ghana Presidency through John Mahama? Ford from just a Burkinabe?????
How "silent", I mean SILENT were Ghanaians when LIGHTS OFF was peaking and peaking, necessitating John Mahama's Government to go for expensive BUT problem-solving power sources? Worse of it wall, Energy Minister had to resign??
Dear Manasseh: The GALAMSEY crisis, to me, has nothing to advantage NDC in the coming election.
Was it not recently that Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng released his very strong write-up on GALAMSEY? What did the Government do about it?
Please allow the sun to rise from the east and set in the west.

Rejoinder: Manasseh Azure Writes: An open letter to Organised Labour
Who does this guy think he is to write an article full of hatred for NDC and Mahama? Did dumsor originate from Mahama? Yet, did he not put in the effort to address it? During that period, we did not see articles full of hatred aimed at blaming Rawlings or Kuffour for not solving it prior.
Galamsay started becoming a topical issue towards the end of Mahama's first term, this idiot did everything to ensure Mahama never got a second term to address it. You think Mahama would have handled Galamsey this way by further putting in place an LI that allowed party folk to enter and degrade our forests and water bodies the way it has turned out under Akufo Addo? Do you think Mahama would have issued out hundreds of licenses to party folk like we have now?
Akufo Addo, who you foolishly claim was going to be the best thing to have ever happened to Ghana, turned out to be a monumental failure - the worst in the history of this country. Instead of staying on the topic, you wrote a 12-point article with 6 paragraphs aimed at the NDC. Are you sick or something?
Galamsay for locals is not a problem to be solved by the military, the NDC was right in withdrawing them. It's been 8 years of military and police deployment under Akufo Addo, is the situation not worse? Apart from the political interests that have been the fault solely of this administration and the main driver behind the level of destruction, Galamsay for the poor locals is a matter of livelihood and you do not address that with military deployments. Get that in your thick head!
This article mentions Mahama on four occasions (all in a negative light) and Akufo Addo whose actions/inactions have brought us here just 6 times (2 of which were not even to admonish him). When you were doing everything to bring Akufo Addo into office, were you expecting him to takeover a country that had all its problems solved by Mahama, especially when you did not give Mahama the second opportunity to solve them?
Admit that you are part of the problem. Do note that you will not be allowed to foolishly blame NDC/Mahama for the negligence and incompetence of an 80 year old man that you supported and essentially campaigned for to come into office.
And just look at the contradiction in that last paragraph, that you do not trust the NDC to resolve the problem, why do you then advise labour to demand commitment from them? Then you enter into the realm of conjecture, that the NDC are waiting to be issued licenses - really? Can you tell us how many licenses the NDC issued at the time when this was not event topical? You are an idiot if you cannot draw a correlation between the number of licenses issued under this government and the scale of destruction.
Before I conclude, have you asked your friend the vice president how and from where they are buying the gold for his opaque gold for oil program? Do you know every activity thrives when there is a market for it, even if it is illegal? Check phone thefts, prostitution, and illicit drugs for answers.
Get your head screwed on my guy, the days of those stupid publications against NDC/Mahama are over.

Manasseh--Azure's Letter [open] to ORGANIZED LABOR--is misplaced --ill-advised-----reading through it--there is an important missing LINK--objectively what sanctimonious Mr. Azure is missing out on is that -the President has no magic wand that can END GALAMSAY--Let it be known that even if Addo Dankwa Akuffo ADDO wishes to STOP GALAMSAY and makes such a DECLARATION--believe me IT IS just EMPTY and wishful-----Why cannot Azure know that the fight to END the GALAMSAY MENANCE is in the hands of Parliament and not the PRESIDENT----Speaker Bagbin and his hung PARLAIAMENT has the POWER to END THIS GALAMSAY MENACE
The Legislative body which is the Parliament must enact a LAW to BAN ANY FORM OF SMALL-SCALE MINING for a foreseeable period to allow the agricultural land and water bodies regain an unpolluted state. --meanwhile a serious afforestation program must follow. If Parliament can waste precious time on an ANTI GAY-ISM BILL--where was MANNASEH?
See how that ridiculous PROPER ALDULT HUMAN SEXUAL BEHAVIOR BILL -attracted nation-wide attention? --Such a private members Bill should not even have been tabled --for the difference between Cultural Right and HUMAN RIGHT is alien to clueless Sam George and co---such a display of ignorance and arrogance.
All the protesting GROUPS and the Organized Labour --should and must
direct their call for action re the GALAMSAY MENANCE to PARLIAMENT--for a LAW to be PAASED----ENACT THE LAW and THE PRESIDENT will endorse IT.
And to those youth who think GALAMSAY MINING is a JOB---let them know that any JOB that has a negative effect on society at large is not an employment--THEY ARE GREEDY, IGNORANT & CRIMINALS. --WATER is PRICELESS and NOT gold -----Our LIFE is in the hand of PARLIIAMENT and not the EXECUTIVE branch of Government .

When did Organised Labour become aware of the menace? Why didn't Organised Labour take any action until NDC's appendages started demanding that govt must halt all mining operation and suffer consequences as they did in 2020 elections. Lost all seats inining constituencies. Rightly or wrongly your actions would be interpreted that you've been bribed by NDC to go on strike against the government. Some unions have disassociated themselves from your decision because they perceive it to be politically motivated. The timing of your action is completely wrong. Think again and act at a proper time not now that general election is less than two months away.

The main problem of Ghana is the CONSTITUTION Crafted by JJ Rawlings and his Cohorts. WINNER TAKES ALL! Nobody from the Media, Lawyers, Academia, Clergy, Politicians to the ordinary citizens is demonstrating for a change of the present Constitution. You can bring Presidents Obama, Clinton, Biden and all the best leaders the world has ever had and they will FAIL with the constitution that we are using. NDC and NPP have been in power from 1992 but we’re still complaining. There’s something fundamentally wrong. And that is the CONSTITUTION. Unless we rather demonstrate for it to be changed nothing can change. Sad.

Mannaseh bear in mind that the strikes are illegal and we know that Carbone and Gyampo -the Dross professor , have been paid by the NDC to use these strikes to cause a regime change ? None of the workers who embark on these senseless strikes will be paid? These needless demonstrations and strikes cost the government including the tax payer a lot of money? Where was organized labour before 2017, after that period till January,2024?
This is truly a politically induced strike but mind you -Ghanaians are very discerning and won't vote for the Dead Goat?
