ANY ATTEMPT TO REGULATE ELECTION PROPHECIES MEANS THAT ELECTION PROMISES OF POLITICIANS TOO MUST BE REGULATED, AND THAT WILL NOT BE THE RIGHT THING TO DO. INSTEAD OF REGULATION, IT HAS TO BE 'LISTENER BEWARE'. LAWS AND REGULATIONS SHOULD NOT BE USED MADE TO BABYSIT GROWN FOLKS WHO REFUSE TO USE THEIR HEADS BUT RATHER CHOOSE TO FOLLOW BLINDLY.
  
  Why should free speech be regulated? Quack prophets spitting out election prophecies aren't breaking any laws or causing any harm. The focus should be on grown men and women who have chosen to mortgage their minds to quack pastors and quack prophets. Election prophecies are no different from election promises dangled by politicians. Just like election promises have to weighed by voters before making a decision on whom to vote for, so too should voters have the mindset to understand that no human can speak on behalf of God, and that prophecies are fake utterances that should not be believed.
