Cameron, you are right in your genuine goodbye to the 'GRANDMASTER BIG G'. He was a good man and professional at his job as a journalist/PRO!
You met with him briefly in 2024 and rightly captured enough about his candid as professional journalist and affable person.
I personally enjoyed his fraternity and strong support as the National Patron of the then GBC Fan Club on GBC 2 in the 1980s from the Asokore SDA Teacher Training College (from where the Grandmaster of Radio mentored some of my students notably Dr. Nana Sefa Twum-competent media practioner now appointed Board Member to the Ghana National News Agency in Ghana; and the infatiguable lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ)in Accra, Dr. Tim Quarshiga who was once a popular GBC/TV Newscaster.
My good friend, Godwin Avenorgbo, has paid his due share to the development of journalism and mentoring the youth for greater feats in our motherland, Ghana.
Again, goodbye as you go to rest from your works on earth. DAMIRIFA DUE
