The Asantes and their superiority complex is surely bringing them down because they refuse to realize that times are changing and therefore they should amend their ways. Is it not madness if the Asantehene can sit in Manshia and claim authority over Bono lands? Was Bono not in existence before Asante of 1701? Was it Asantehene who made Berekumhene a Paramount Chief? No! So why this arrogance? Didn't an Asantehene and his Queenmother once go prostrate before Kwasi Broni to beg him for mercy?
