Going around the country, Mahama had seen a huge difference in terms of factories and with that, he thinks he can force the private businesses to be part of his stupid 24-hour nonsense, it will not work.

During the time of Nkrumah, some businesses have 24-hour shifts, and it was not instituted by Nkrumah rather demand and supply. Commonsense says that if you are selling something, and the turnover is brisk, nobody will tell you to increase your business but the demand.

That is why no one in NDC could explain that 24-hour whatever. In economics, where there is "Demand, definitely there is Supply", and when the demand for a particular product goes down, workers have to be laid off why, because there no demand for that particular product meaning, revenue isn't coming in.

These little things are the reason most people go into business and lose blaming others than how shallow they are when it comes to the understanding of simple "economics".

Like the writer said; a 24hr economy should be demand driven, but to understand Demand, we have to look at how much we import into ghana and that alone tells us that there is huge demand.
The NDC proposal to implement policies that gives incentives to enable many more companies across targeted industries is the way to go in order to reduce import and create more employment

NPP members including Dr. Bawumia has lied to Ghanaians that the adopted digitalization has eliminated ghost names on the government payroll and has also help reduced over crowding at the DVLA offices. Recently, when I went to license my car, it took me 5 days and an amount of about ghc3000 to complete the process. What shocked me was the fact that there was an intentional delays by corrupt officials and the agent paid so much bribes to get things done. If we should digitize everything in Ghana, where will the young population get jobs to do? How many jobs will a digitized economy create for the teaming youth. We should get serious in this country. A lot of things are still done manually in the US and not to talk of a shit hole Ghana.
