Where is the money going to come from to offset the national debt.
Dr Busia said: "Okafo didi" but was reminded that the debtor however "Nni sardine".
Ghana produces oil but imports 100% of our oil consumption! What is 10%, !3% 0% share of our natural resources?
Sad, when 100% truth has no place in our national economy!

Look there is a town in China which manufactures all the Christmas decorations in the USA. The Christmas decorations alone is about 1.5 billion dollrs. That is the power of manufacturing.
Can we all imagine why after Nkrumah's overthrow, IMF was more interested in factory closures? Ghanaians think again and again.
I went to Taiwan and South Korea and what I saw is an eye opening. In south Korea and Taiwan, they manufacture microchips and they even have Universities that are dedicated to the study of microchips and its technologies.
Ghana we talk too much and do very little. Shame to our leaders.

U.S., her allies and local U.S. quislings are still punishing Ghanaians for living well under Kwame Nkrumah's government.

Is the writer of this article daft? What did all those factories set up by Nkrumah inject back into the circular flow of income to keep the economy afloat and growing? Is it the the numerical number that matters or the suitability and productiveness of the industries? To tell this writer the truth, kwame Nkrumah wasted Ghana's time and resources including all the money he spent lavishly on liberation movements and the ten million pounds each to Guinea and Mali. Ghana would have rivalled Singapore if Nkrumah had adopted sound economic development policies instead of the import substitution based on the socialist/marxist model.
