Unfortunately none (am I right?) turned to footballing in GHANA.
They are all (Mbappe, Gakpo, Eze, Williams, Memphis etc) foreigners with West African roots or parents.
None is a "made in GHana" or a local product.

It all, in my view, has to do with the environment where they are.

So, to you, having ciritically watched Akufo-Addo from the failed Attorney General to the 419 Minister of Foreign Affairs (Who burned the Ministry to hide fraudulent enterprises therein), to the noose they hang around Ghana's neck presently, a change of governance rather than a change of government is a made-in-heaven attraction?
Now, I am very sure we Ghanaians are our own problems! We MUST import reasoning and common sense as soon as possible if we cannot beg the Good God to reengineer our DNA. No doubt we have a judiciary tailored to match our congenital stupidity.

All club football in Europe is organized by private associations, NOT governments. Actually, these associations pay taxes to local and national governments.
Players like Messi, Ronaldo and so on rose to prominence because of their clubs, not governments.
Your cyto type thinking skills are awful.

Sometimes people don't give credit to Ghana when comparing certain situations as pertained elsewhere especially Europe and the Americas. People forget that these so-called cities have been in existent for over 200yrs at what time Ghana was under slavery and colonialism. We've been independent for only 60plus years minus all the military interventions from 1966-1981.
We have only practiced democracy only 30yrs ago and stick struggling to build a strong democratic foundation going forward. Ghana has only seen 5 democratically elected President's so don't expect us to achieve in such a short time what the Europeans have done in over 200yrs. We don't lack intelligence nor the knowledge for good quality developmental structures it is only a matter of time. Some Ghanaians are quick to compare Ghana to same people who putting us down always. Yes, we can do better but with leaders like Akuffo Addo and what he's done in 8yrs how do we attain a higher governance index?
However there's always hope for a better tomorrow and a better Ghana.
