  Our main economic problem in this country is that we are not farming, that the majority of agricultural products are imported from abroad.
  From maize, onion, tomato, chicken, rice, beef, fish and you name it.
  The fact is that people in government and those involved in partisan politics do not produce, but rather are involved in the importation of food items and manufactured products.
  If countries like Cuba, North Korea and Zimbabwe which have the western order applying all sorts of sanctions against them, not to forget to mention Russia and Belarus don't farm they economies would have collapsed long ago.
  There must be a policy that those who import food produce a percentage of what they import.
  In the absence of that ban must be placed on the importation of some sorts of food into the country.
  Measures must be implemented to increase the production of chicken, duck and other aquatic birds, guinea fowl and other semi-domestic birds, not excluding turkey and birds of that kind.
  With that ban must be place on building human dwelling on some of the arable agricultural lands in the country.
  The capital Accra must be made to feed itself.
  Without the above Ghanaians must forget about the drop in the value of the Cedi, because you need more Cedis to change into other currencies in order to import food.
