  Restricting admission to public institutions in an attempt to stop private universities in Ghana from collapsing is a naive solution that ignores the underlying reasons of the problem. Rather than putting artificial restrictions on public education, the government ought to concentrate on enhancing the caliber and competitiveness of private educational establishments. Infrastructure improvements, legislative changes, and the promotion of an atmosphere that encourages academic innovation can all help achieve this. National growth should prioritize education, and governments should work to increase rather than limit opportunities.
