The proper interpretation that Ken Kuranchie should have sought, was whether a former president can receive ex-gratia for four consecutive years then run for office again? I think this is a clear case of violation of the law. JM should either refund all the monies if he wants to run because we are not supposed to pay for a retired politician seeking a come-back.
