  Let the peoples of the Sahel determine their own governance system which is indigenous to their own aspirations and post independence experiences.
  I think it's high time the international community stop imposing governance systems that are alien people's culture.tradition and their political and economic aspirations.
  After all what has the borrowed systems imposed on them after independence done than to re- enslaved them and impoverished them the more.

  ECOWAS should also sanction rigged elections and extension of term limits. Every Head of State who constitutionally extends term limits must permanently disqualify themselves from benefitting from the extension within the same enactment.This will strengthen ECOWAS rule of zero tolerance for all forms of coups, both Military and Constitutional.
