My friend, it is not a matter of being respectful. Some people are naturally inclined to bash Nkrumah, Rawlings etc. Nothing will change their compartmentalised mindset. There was nothing democratic about Napoleon, yet the French still cherish his contribution good or bad. Personally, I will always admire JJ Rawlings, and I do not give a fig about my own cousins constantly whingeing about their "AKAN" nonsense!. Those who were steeped in "Kalabule" never gave a fig about me as an AKAN. They just ripped me off! As far as am concerned ,Rawlings, did exactly what Oliver Cromwell did when England was mired in a stygian mess of corruption. Circumstances alter cases, and JJ did what was necessary at the time.
