Nana Akuffo Addo is a violent person

On December 7, 1996, the then New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, Nana Akuffo Addo who contested the 1996 Parliamentary election at the Akyem Abuakwa Constituency was reported in the media to have pulled a pistol and fired several warning shots at a polling station because he claimed the polling station officer was delaying in counting and announcing the results of the polls.

Nana Akuffo Addo contested against the then National Democratic Congress (NDC)/EGLE Parliamentary Candidate, Owiraku Amofa.

It took the courage of the security personnel around at that time to protect and escort the Returning Officer to convey the ballot boxes to the constituency electoral centre before the votes were finally counted, and he was even declared the winner.

What made the situation more precarious was that Nana Akuffo Adoo was so charged that he fired more shots into the van which was carrying the polling officers and security personnel. It was by divine intervention that no one was killed or injured.

Nana Akuffo Addo was lucky to have gone scot free without being arrested and charged with offences such as, offensive conduct, doing an act with intent to disturb the public peace, unlawful discharge of firearm, and attempted murder, among others.

Such a person wants to be a President of Ghana. Tufiakwa! Ghanaians must know the kind of person he is. Anyone who wants to know more about the incident mentioned should just go to the media archives and read electoral stories reported in December, 1996 after the elections as reported by the Ghana News Agency (GNA).

At the appropriate time Ghana Politico shall publish the full story as reported in the media in December, 1996 for every Ghanaian to see.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication team members do not do any better research otherwise they could have done proper research on this issue and painted Nana Akuffo Addo as the real violent person he is.
Solomon Nkansah, the NDC National Communication Officer and his team must search for this story at the archives on the Ghana News Agency and reproduce it for all Ghanaians to read.

Ghanaians cannot be ensured of proper security if the President is ill-mannered, quick-tempered and pulls pistol or AK 47 and fires warning shots at the FLAGSTAFF HOUSE.

No doubt he has imported three South African mercenaries to come to Ghana and cause mayhem in this peaceful country.

Ah! Nana Akuffo Addo, what at all do you want in Ghana? You are so desperate to be President to the extent that you went all the way to South Africa for trigger-happy mercenaries to make Ghana ungovernable if you do not win the Presidential election in November, 2016. Look at how the NPP is struggling to explain the reason for importing the SA3 mercenaries.

Ghana Politico has observed that no amount of explanation and gimmicks by the NPP can absolve them from the fact that they erred in bringing the SA3 mercenaries in an election year to train party terrorists in Ghana.
Ghanaians must be watchful and careful about Nana Akuffo Addo. This all-die-be-die man, Nana Akuffo Addo has been a violent person in the past has continued to be violent.
