From Thursday, June 11 to Saturday, June 13, 2026, the Forecourt of the State House in Accra will come alive as Ghana hosts the 3rd Edition of the Ghana Horticulture Expo 2026, a premier gathering aimed at redefining the future of agriculture and agribusiness in Ghana.

Organised by the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE) in collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and Ghana Export-Import Bank (Ghana Exim Bank), the Expo will bring together farmers, exporters, agribusinesses, investors, development partners, researchers, policymakers, students, and consumers under one powerful and inspiring theme: “From Soil to Sovereignty: Building Ghana’s Agricultural Self-Reliance through Innovation.”

Building on the success of its previous editions, the 2026 Expo is expected to be bigger, more impactful, and more transformative.

At a time when global food systems are under pressure and nations are increasingly prioritising local production and economic resilience, Ghana stands at a defining moment.

Despite the country’s rich agricultural resources and hardworking farmers, significant opportunities remain untapped within the horticultural sector.

The Ghana Horticulture Expo 2026, therefore, seeks to provide a strategic platform that promotes innovation, value addition, export growth, investment opportunities, and sustainable agricultural development.

Over the three-day event, participants will experience a vibrant exhibition of fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, processed products, greenhouse technologies, irrigation systems, agritech innovations, packaging solutions, and export-ready commodities.

Speaking ahead of the event, the President of FAGE, Davies Narh Korboe, underscored the importance of agricultural transformation in building a resilient and self-reliant nation.
