Mixed reactions as Tekno misses MTV Base West interview for oversleeping

Twitter is on fire with different reactions over singer Tekno, who apparently missed a very important MTV program because he overslept.

MTV Base West had earlier advertised that Tekno would join the program, and fans were looking forward to it until the singer failed to show up.

To make matters worse, he retweeted MTV’s Base West's tweet apologizing to their audience for Tekno’s failure to [appear on the show saying] he overslept.

“We are sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control, singer @alhajitekno won’t be joining us tonight on Say What Now with @nonelawalsh as previously announced. We look forward to hosting Tekno on the show in the future. (1/2)”, MTV Base tweeted to which Tekno responded, “I’m so sorry I over slept... pls how do u make up for it?

His retweet caused some twitter users to troll him, calling him out for being unprofessional, especially in his response whiles others came to his defence; saying he is human and it was normal for something as unfortunate as oversleeping to miss an important program could happen to anyone.

Lmao.... I once had a virtual meeting at a time I was having very short sleeps during siesta. I was certain I won't sleep up to 30 mins so I can prep for the meeting. I ended up sleeping for 2 hrs.
