Ghanaians hate me – Akuapem Poloo

Ghanaian actress, social media personality and songstress, Akuapem Poloo, has asserted that Ghanaians hate her for being herself.

In an interview with Foster Romanus on the Late Nite Celebrity Show, she stated: “Ghanaians have shown me hatred since 2018. Some people show it to me by saying that I am not good for their brand. Others show it when we get on set and some even showed it when Cardi B came to Ghana”.

She, however, stated that she was in no way going to retaliate by holding grudges. “I am too small to be holding grudges. I even need to gain weight but I am not seeing any weight gain even with all my efforts”, she added.

It can be recalled that Akuapem Poloo revealed that some celebrities avoid her because they view her as uncultured and that will stain their brand. The actress has over the years expressed her pain over these attitude of celebrities in the showbiz industry.
