DKB talks about Ghana man time on BBC

During the BBC’s “The Arts Hour On Tour” in Ghana a few months back, award winning comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, who was part of the panel that discussed slavery, how Africans can reorganize themselves and spoke at length about the theme “Year of return”.

The comedian wasn’t there to just share his thoughts and opinion about the subject matter, he took the opportunity to thrill the audience to a brilliant comedic performance. In a video circulating on social media, the comedian is seen speaking about Ghana Man Time and also spoke a little about the nature of news produced by the BBC.

His clever and witty delivery kept the audience laughing from start to end. He showed that he can perform to any crowd. He affirmed why he is the King of Gh comedy.

The show was hosted by Nikki Bedi. She was joined on stage by actress Lydia Forson , artist Kwame Akoto Bamfo, rapper M.anifest and singer Cina Soul. The show was held at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences.
