Be mindful of your actions – US-based musicians advice

Albert and wife Grace Colinwud play videoAlbert and wife Grace Colinwud

Gospel music duo, Albert & Grace Colinwud, are urging all to be humble, selfless and God fearing so as to make a transgenerational impact.

In an audio clip, the two who recently released a song, titled ‘Testimony’ said descendants become beneficiaries or victims of actions taken by their predecessors; hence, the need for one to be virtuous.

“The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months, and the LORD blessed him and his entire household,” Albert quoted 2 Samuel 6.11 and stressed that “Obed-Edom, the biblical character, made a trans-generational impact through servant-hood (humility), selflessness, consistency, love for God, and a hunger for God's presence.”

He argued that young people in nations like America are reaping from the seeds sowed by their forefathers, and do not necessarily work harder than their counterparts in countries like Ghana and other African countries.

According to him, there are many youths in Ghana who are very hard working but are still struggling because their forefathers did not lay down good economic structures in their time.

Albert consequently appealed to Ghanaians, especially leaders to have an attitude of servanthood that focuses on serving their generation, working hard and excellently to leave a legacy that will affect unborn generations.

On her part, Grace called on all Christians to desire for the presence and power of God like Obed-Edom did. She admonished the church to pray for a revival so that the power of God will be abundant in the church of God as well as bring deliverance to many, so that false prophets and false teachers will be exposed.
