The Ghevent Records signee, Ahiabor Owen Dziedzorm who is popularly known as ‘Owen Giltz’ has expressed his view on Ghanaian female musicians.

According to the gospel artiste, most of the Ghanaian female musicians have no talent.

In an interview with browngh.com, the 'Jehovah you are so good' hitmaker said: “After the late Ebony Reigns left the music scene with her shocking death, 90 per cent of female underground artists can’t do their own style but trying copying the style of the late Ebony. Ghanaians also aren’t able to see what they are doing. Yes it is really true as a young artist, you need to get a role model to follow and to keep your music career moving which is acceptable but the rate at which up and coming female musicians are copying the late ebony adds nothing to the table. They need to be creative and bring up their own style.” he said

“Ghanaian up and coming female artistes should put in their minds that, Ebony was special and unique in her own way and none of them can be 100% just like her. In everything you do in life you need to carry your own brand and style to keep you unique,” he added.

Owen glitz further stated that the female artistes should put in much effort to make their names in the Music Industry by staying original.

Owen also used the opportunity to congratulate Sandy Hekny for her impact in the music industry and also for her selfless campaign on teenage pregnancy and girl child education campaign

He also used the opportunity to congratulate some popular female artists like Mzvee, Eno Barony, Becca, Efya, Wendy Shay, Freda, Joyce Blessing, kakie etc. for their unique styles and their contribution to the music industry.
