  Parents also play a key role and I believe many of talented kids we see get discouraged by their parents.
  
  In Ghana for instance, most parents believe in big positions such as doctors, lawyers and the likes so it becomes difficult for parents to encourage and sponsor their children to develop their talents.
  
  This calls for change as you said and parents must take responsibility to encourage their kids. That way institutions and individuals will be willing to assist knowing you are doing great.

By the way I agree with Patrick 100% parents as you said also have roles to play, I sited an example in church last Sunday about how my daddy would lash me just because I was late to church, comparing that what the case is now, it's so so sad that thing of encouraging young ones is get lost if not to say lost at all. I still believe in the vision though. Am hopeful
