That something could be the respect many people have for you; how polite you are; the cynosure you are; your achievements; how professional and smart you appear; how well you live etc., etc. And above all these people are people who are closer to you - your siblings (brothers and sisters), your parents, your friends.

I happened to be in a Ghanaian shop in Tottenham, North London a couple of years ago when this incident was being talked about. There was this 'fat' young woman with a child hanging over her back, who called herself Obaa Yaa from Kurofuom, Kumasi - so she said. She was speaking disparagingly about Amy of this incident. From her utterances, I could say she had never even seen Amy before in her life. She was just jealous about Amy.
