  Has the VGMA board, that you proudly brag about being a member not been doing everything in its power to sabotage Shatta Wale? He is not even nominated among the best artistes in Ghana but wins the best African act at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards, wins artiste of the year at the GMA in UK and a host of other international awards. What do you call an awards scheme that neglects arguably the best artiste in Ghana? And Sir, you are part of it.
  
  You mention 2face, Dbanj etc, who have won the BET awards. I believe the awards benefited more from them than they did from the awards. they were already stars who have been receiving awards on stage before live audiences, and you think that backstage award added anything to their legitimacy? Their presence gave the awards a semblance of credibility and not vice versa. An awards scheme for blacks that can't even recognize Africans on stage?
  
  Prior to the nomination we saw which artiste was begging to be nominated on social media, and it was definitely not Shatta, so what makes you think he wanted to be nominated. Yes, Shatta commented and if you have basic comprehension skills, you will realise that he was addressing his fans not to be bothered by trolls. The guy has a fan base and like every leader, your people must hear from you in times like this, just like you also saw it wise to be here defending your VGMA board. You feel you have the right but Shatta doesn't? These are the double standards and disrespect he always talks about. So keep your advise of asking him to find out what goes into the nomination process because he is not interested. You guys simply wish he will come begging one day but it ain't gonna happen.
  
  Like it's been said many times: Peter Tosh won the Grammy but he will never be greater than Bob Marley.
