  Some women given the opportunity can be very dangerous.Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings for instance was cooking and sleeping with the murderer of 3 fmr Heads of state,military generals,High Court Judges etc. COP Bio Atinga ignored the murder of innocent NPP supporters at Abobloshie by NDC cadres.If not by the Supreme Court ruling in 2016 ,to give both Parliamentary and Presidential collating sheets to party reps at polling stations ,the E C boss Charllote Osei would have plunged this nation into war. Even when it was clear Nana Akufo Addo had won the elections,she was claiming over -voting in the Asanti region ,which was a lie.Some women can be more dangerous than the serpent. We need efficiency and not just gender equality with such women like Akua Donkor ,miss Ativor,Dessouza,Banyiwa Doe etc FULLSTOP!

WHILE WE CAN'T DENY HISTORICAL SOCIAL & CULTURAL HINDRANCES TO WOMEN'S EDUCATION, ETC , AS FAR AS GHANA GOES, FROM INDEPENDENCE ONWARDS, THE STARTING POINT IS FOR PARENTS TO ENROL THEIR GIRL CHILD, SUPPORT HER EDUCATION JUST LIKE THAT OF A SON AND THE REST IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL GIRLS PERFORMANCE. AT SECONDARY AND TERTIARY LEVELS, GIRL STUDENTS ARE GIVEN A LOT OF PREFERENTIAL TREATMENTS IN THE CLASSROOM, LECTURE HALLS, EXAMINATIONS, ETC. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THE CHARACTER & DISCIPLINE OF THE GIRL STUDENT IN MUCH THE SAME WAY THAT CHARACTER & DISCIPLINE UNDERGIRDS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE BOY STUDENT.

  There is no question women are hard to please. We can appoint all women on our boards, as chairs of our universities, as head of all state institutions they will still quibble about lack of opportunities.

  There is no question women are hard to please. We can appoint all women on our boards, as chairs of our universities, as head of all state institutions they will still quibble about lack of opportunities.
  
  Where in the world democracies would you find a woman Chief Justice, a woman AG and Minister of Justice, a woman Electoral Commissioner, not to mention women ministers and women in Council of State. Ghana has done extremely well with their women compared with say US and Canada.
  
  Women should work their way through the corporate ladder and through the political juggernaut if they expect to get anywhere in society. Ghana can boast of women trail blazers in the CJ Georgina Theodora Wood and AG Gloria Akufo not to mention the former AG Marrietta Brew Appiah Oppong.
  
  What do women want????
