Lucky is on point. I wonder why most DJs put great emphasis on the so called Dance Hall music, which most don't make sense. They should rather promote gospel n Hi-life music.

He doesn't speak any Ghana languages. DJs not playing Highlife is like United States not playing Jazz music, not playing Country music, Rock music, Soul music, and not playing Easy Listening Music. It is like the Nigerians not playing Afro Beats, Afro pops, the traditional music, and Juju music. Ghana DJs and owners of radio stations please do something. Please don't allow Highlife to die. It is part of our heritage.

If I was to be in a position to do so, I would have started radio station, that only play Highlife music. My suggestion to all the Highlife musicians young and seniors is that they should come together including businesses to start Highlife Radio, concerts, and comedies. Through these ventures, businesses, Ads, and so on. Highlife will be able to make a come back.
