I followed the news about the late Legend Daasebre's death. I never heard any news that the paternal side of family has said he spent most of his life in Koforidua and that he should be buried there. All they said was he was a royal from New Juaben, Kof City. Moreover, Daasebre's mother died when he was only 3 months old. It was his father, paternal grandmother, aunties n uncles who raised him. I've seen almost Daasebre's interviews, he stated exactly the same. According to the late Legend, he spent most of his life in Accra than Kof City. He n his snr bother lived in Accra with their father n step-mum. Therefore, I don't see why the maternal side of family insisted that they're the right people to burry him; to the extent that placed an injunction on the burial at Kof City. Why did they have to go that far? Moreover, Daas was living in Kof City when he passed away. Aside that his wife n kids are there. Therefore, the maternal side should've considered all these. In the future, when the wife n kids want to visit the grave yard, it would be convenient for them. However, they weren't considerate about all these at all. I believe n so do many people that it's because of money, that's why they held the funeral at Anomabu. So pls don't blame the paternal side too much. The actual fault is from the maternal side. Any way, may Almighty God keep Daasebre's soul in His bosom. May he RIPP. Amen!
