Okyeame Kwame, Sandra Ankobiah, others win at Ghana Fashion Awards 2016

Ghanaian rap artist Okyeame Kwame and television personality lawyer Sandra Ankobiah were among a list of personalities who picked up awards at the Ghana Fashion Awards 2016 held at the Mercedes-Benz Showroom, Silver Star Tower – Accra on Saturday November 19, 2016.

The show was hosted by two talented on-air personalities of the Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company fraternity, Fati Shaibu Ali of e.TV Ghana and Happy FM’s DJ Advicer.

The Ghana Fashion Awards 2016 saw an amazing performance from fast rising songstress eShun.

Designer of the Year – Sima Brew

Accessory Designer of the Year (Jewelry) – Joyce Owusu (Purple Trendz)

Accessory Designer of the Year (Bags, Sandals) – Mpaboa

Female Fashion Celebrity Icon of the Year – Sandra Ankobiah

Male Fashion Celebrity Icon of the Year – Okyeame Kwame

Fashion Photographer of the Year – Duke Tetteh Quarshie

Male Model of the Year – Meek Ghartey

Joyce Ababio College of Creative Design was inducted into the Ghana Fashion Awards Hall of Fame for dedication to fashion in the past 20 years.

Organizers of the awards also took a moment to remember last year’s Hall of Famer Kofi Ansah.
