In all civilized societies where death is announced, there are three basic information that follows the announcement: 1) how old the deceased was; 2) the cause of death; and 3) the the length of incapacitation leading to death. This is vital information that must accompany all death announcements, but this is not the case in godforsaken primitive and backward Ghana.
People die all the time, and when prominent person in society dies, it is the duty of the media to apprise society the vital information, which can be easily obtained from family members or the attending physician of the deceased. How long can our country remain backward and primitive in this day and age?
