Master Isaac Wenide tops Japan Speech Contest

Master Isaac Wenide of Mary star of the sea school at Kasoa, emerged overall champion of this years Japan speech contest held at the teachers hall, Accra.

The ambitious young lad delivered his speech in confidence and again answered his questions in accuracy from the panel of judges to an for himself an undisclosed package donated by the Japanese community in Ghana.

Joseph Osei-okyere also from the same school came second with Eric Yaw Mensah Amuzu placing third.

The 2nd category saw little Iroha Uda coming tops with her prize.

Hanson Gabriel Nuamah placed first in the elite category ahead of Joseph Daniel Nuamah and David Adom Nuamah.

This years event,which forms part of the Japan week celebrations is the 21st edition and primarily geared towards promoting the interest in the Japanese language.
