She does proper dancehall and unfortunate Ghanaians could not relate to her style because they don't know what the 'real' dancehall is. Dancehall originally is a Jamaica 'thing' which is synonymous with the use of their dialect, patois that makes it unique and you can feel the vibes. Other dialect or language can be used, but the patois gives it that flavour. Ak Songtress is the best female artist in Ghana with the use of the Patoia that makes her music unique. Listen to artist like Vybes Kartel, Mavado, Bounty Killa, Alkaline and how the use their dialect to give that feel of dancehall. AK songtress falls in that category. Ghanaians don't know proper dancehall.
