130 years of Revenue mobilization for development. Cocoa, gold, diamonds, bauxite, oil palm, manganese, nickel, timber exports financed development projects.

Eastern Region contributed in no small way to the development of Ghana. Cocoa, diamonds, oil palm, timber and some gold all these from Akyem and cocoa from other parts of the Eastern Region contributed in no small way towards these development projects.
