Mills took over in 2008 and the needy old musicians were not remembered till a few months to election. The gesture is perfect but unfortunately the timing is very very bad. The president should have done this in 2012 but in a desperate attempt to seem as a " caring" president he is doing this. Again his government is always crying of there is no money to pay allowances to teachers etc. so how did he conjure the amount he is now sharing..? We should not have leaders NDC, NPP , PPP or CPP whose main aim is to win general elections and leave the people with poverty. No party in Ghana now thinks of the people but themselves only.
