This is not the first time a creditor has lost control and assaulted people,destroyed property or ceased properties or even humans to be held until a debt is paid.Our laws surrounding debt must be revisited and put in line with 21st century reality.Instead of criminalizing debt we should allow courts to cease monies,investments and properties to be sold and used to satisfy terms of loans.As it is right now debtors do not have any rights or recourse in the law which leads to anger and despair.Imagine some one owing you money which you need for your business or life but the person keep giving you excuses or even worse ignoring you while his/her business flourish. You may report it to the police and they will either arrest him/her or gives you lip services after taking a small bribe from him.Even if they jail this person you are still going to lose that money.If the laws are not revamped to deal with this reality we will see more of these unfortunatr episodes and even worst.
