Delay is not telling us the truth about the pains she is professing to have gone through. The pain she is talking about is unfounded. It is self created. It is not natural, it is purely artificial. It is a well orchestrated ploy, a make believe story to convince sympathizers on the subject of pain which normal people go thru this life.
In the case of Delay, she never went through any pain growing up.
So far as I know, her connection with radio was thru her mother whose connections and contacts sent her down to a relative who had then opened a new Radio Station in the Nkawkaw area.
Without the due process of any office practice, i.e. college experience, work experience, application letter, background check and auditioning,she was offered the job on a silver platter.
Generally, without going through most of the above procedures, one would find it hard to sail smoothly. There would be bumps here and there. Is that what she term as pain?
Delay, just tell the world that you have been lucky. You were just lucky. You took advantage of Mama's connection.The many radio stations that got sprouted at the time lacked many qualified presenters/personnel so they made do any flip-flap to keep them in business.
With the little experience amassed, you moved down to Accra and boom! here you are. Is this what your pain all about?
Now, you have Delay production crew, (you now the sole sofo who calls the shots. The 'Tinapa,Saadin and Tomaatos" entrepreneur kind of.
You are now counted as one of the few around whose voice can be heard all over the waves and government functionary. So what is your Pain?
You know what, your only pain I perceive now is going through the rigors of having to have and or choosing a life-long partner which the system label as husband. And that alone is in fact, very hard to come by. Especially when you have stayed out all these while, at the brink of leaving your youthfulness behind. (36yrs I supposed, abi?) Being a self-proclaimed virgin, a 'baby Pancake and Jaguar Nana' of some sort.
