As if she can teach SAA anything about preparing food to be served at 35,000 feet in the air. She knows nothing about the challenges, and how ones sense of taste changes. And like the SA Minister of Transport once said in Parliament" "Do you want to eat, or do you want to travel?" This is not a restaurant. The reputation of SAA since 1934 speaks for itself.

Afia is right, minus the insults, to comment about the food served on the plane. We pay for such services and should be quality. Zach, your comment is misguided.

Afia is perfectly correct, joloff rice is definitely different from any other pepperly rice.
Afia should make a short video of how to cook joloff rice & present the video to SAA.

Did SAA show her a menu which said they will be serving jollof rice? Why on earth will SAA be serving jollof rice when it is not SA's type of food. If you want good in-flight food, don't fly any African Airline.
